Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craft and Agriculture of Marche Region (CCIAAM)

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craft and Agriculture of Marche Region (CCIAAM) is a public body that performs functions of general interest for the business system, focusing on development of local economies”; it maintains and updates the Business Register of its territory. It has been established in November 2018 as a merger of the previous 5 local Chambers of Commerce, thus it is the 5th Italian Chamber in terms of registered companies.
Among its activities, it boasts a vast and consolidated experience and involvement in the activities of Work-related learning experience  (Alternanza Scuola Lavoro) and in professional guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs. A dedicated staff runs training courses to stimulate the creation of new businesses, both in innovative and traditional economic sectors, also in partnership with High Schools, Universities, research centers and private training actors. The courses are organized in different modules according to the various phases, from the definition of the business idea to the drafting of the business plan. Often its topics are designed  to give financial support to particular categories of companies (innovative, women entrepreneurs, young people). Several courses focus on spreading the digitization of SMEs. The Chamber is also among the promoters of the Adriatic and Ionian Start Up school, whose main purpose is the economic development of cultural tourism in that area, through the creativity and initiative of young people who want to start a business; it is a training course aimed at the development of innovative start-ups operating in the field of cultural tourism and meant to  enhance the cultural heritage of the Adriatic Ionian Macro Region.
As heir to the previous 5 Chambers of Commerce, it also can boast a strong and consolidated experience in the management of EU funds and projects, with a specific focus on Erasmus +. It  participates in  several projects, both as a lead partner and as a partner.

Marche Polytechnic University (Università Politecnica delle Marche - UNIVPM)

Marche Polytechnic University (Università Politecnica delle Marche – UNIVPM) is an Italian university institute based in the city of Ancona, founded in 1969. It was the first Italian university to obtain the Integrated Quality Certification according to the international ISO 9001 standards, therefore the Marche Polytechnic University is a regional reference for the training of Italian and foreign students. The University offers 5 Faculties: Engineering, Economics, Agriculture, Medicine, Science.Over the years, several branches have been opened in other Marche cities such as Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, Pesaro and San Benedetto del Tronto. UNIVPM participates in the CEnTOUR project with two of its departments.
The Management Department in recent years has devoted attention to the issue of sustainability, in the awareness of the role it plays in the formation of future generations. In this context, the Polytechnic University of Marche has created and intends to promote the “Univpm Sustainable” project as a container of initiatives aimed at sustainability, applying it to all research areas: from Corporate Social Responsibility and social / sustainability reporting, according to national and international guidelines, to sustainable consumption marketing strategies. Moreover, UNIVPM with the Department of Management is member, since March 2018, of the EIT Climate-KIC.
Department of Materials, Environmental Sciences and Urban Planning, and urban design at the Polytechnic University of Marche, and especially the involved staff, represented by Fatone, is the coordinator of the extensive Horizon2020 SMART-Plant innovation action, and has leadership positions in 9 other European projects (Horizon2020 programs, PRIMA, Life +, Water JPI, ENI CBC MED), among these we mention: H2020 “ENERWATER Standard method and online tool for assessing and improving the energy efficiency of waste water treatment plants” and H2020 “HYDROUSA Demonstration of water loops with innovative regenerative business models for the Mediterranean region”.

EcoRes

EcoRes is a Brussels-based consultancy office with 15 years expertise in Circular Economy, Resource Management and Collective Intelligence. EcoRes facilitates the transition of public and private organizations towards inclusive sustainability and circularity through a portfolio of services that covers the whole lifecycle of an Sustainability Strategy:
•Initial assessment of sustainability issues (360°);
•Support in defining sustainability transition strategy;
•Support in the development of innovative solutions and their implementation (from niche to scaled up solutions);
•Stakeholder engagement and integration within the organization´s ecosystem;
•Capacity-building for staff to accelerate the transition;
•Support from a network of key experts to inspire project development

Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM)

The Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) is a public, non-profit institution created in 2007 and founded by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure that ensures the implementation of national SME development policies. Has an extensive expertise in business development, creating opportunities to launch and develop successful businesses, especially in rural areas. Our vision is to become the key driver of entrepreneurial development in the Republic of Moldova by accelerating the rate of creation of new enterprises, contributing to creation and retention of good jobs and investing in our emerging industries.
Over the years, ODIMM has ensured continuous dialogue between the private sector and central authorities, being the author and promoter of many national support initiatives that have come in response to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. ODIMM has launched support tools that have improved the entrepreneurial culture in the Republic of Moldova and revitalized the country’s economy by stimulating investment in industries with high growth potential. Today, many ODIMM initiatives are considered successful models in the Eastern European region and are required to be multiplied in countries that have a social context and go through similar economic challenges.

Business and Innovation Center (BIC)

Business and Innovation Center (BIC) is the innovation & commercialisation vehicle of the SEE University, based in Tetovo, North Macedonia. It is a bridge between the wider business sector and the University, promoting the triple-helix model goals. BIC continuously promotes conditions to stimulate the creation of new start-up companies, creating a synergy between the innovative businesses and encourage the growth of existing SMEs, which in the long term provides new job opportunities. Over the years, by fostering an entrepreneurial culture among the faculty, researchers and students, and by commercializing the scientific and technological knowledge, the Center has become a key link that converts knowledge and expertise into action, innovation and investments.

Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Xanthi (EBEX)

The Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Xanthi (EBEX) is a public body . Established on  the 28th of August of 1956. Chamber is one of the main pillars of the local economy, supporting entrepreneurs and workers and taking part in cross-border and transnational EU projects for more than 20 years.  Aimed to strengthen products and services in a sustainable prospective.
The Chamber also  focuses its attention to the cultural heritage of the area, gastronomy and environment, preserving the local cultural history, with the creation of new tourism cultural routes. Participation as member to Phoenician Route of the Council of Europe  and the creation of Labor’s of Hercules.
It has a number of activities that it offers to its members, encourages the creation of new businesses, enhances staff training, provides data for 3rd countries. Collaborates with agencies and innovation centers. Also Chamber is a   member of the Organization of European Border Regions (AEBR).  AEBR  was founded in 1971 by the first border regions which had started cross-border cooperation in Europe after the Second World War, strengthening the integration of citizens across national boundaries.

Center for Social Innovation (CSI)

Center for Social Innovation (CSI) is a team of professionals with over 50 years of collective experiences in the fields of Education, System Rationalization, Information & Communications Technologies, Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, Global Health Process – Life Sciences, Business Forensic Intervention, Youth Development & Motivation, and Resource Realignment with Goals and Objectives.
Members of the Founding Team worked in three continents and collaborated with organizations and individuals from various countries. They also worked in the Equity Capital and Venture Capital fields through which they made significant contributions in the development of a number of businesses in various fields. They bring all these experiences to support the identification of systemic problems and as well as the development and implementation of smart and sustainable solutions to difficult social problems.
The Team is focusing on developing and introducing disruptive solutions to systemic social, education and economic problems. The disruptive solutions to the systemic problems that we identify are developed through various layers of interaction with stakeholders. The interaction at the stakeholder layer is achieved through brainstorming, field research and focus groups and at the scientific level is done through literature and scientific research reviews. The  purpose is to systematically and systemically interfere in the social fabric to allow, encourage and facilitate a better quality of life for as many people as possible.

Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (Forum AIC)

The Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (Forum AIC) is an Association born in 2001 that joins 40 Chambers of Commerce from the Adriatic and Ionian Region. The Associations’ purpose is to promote the economic development of the AI area, to strengthen the relationships among the Chambers of Commerce of transborder Countries, and to spread business and entrepreneurial culture through the involvement of all the actors within the territory. The strategic goal of the Forum is to help a process of growth within the basin and a tangible application of European principles referred to the politics of cohesion and contribute to EU integration of Western Balkans.
The Forum is one of the major stakeholders in the European Strategy of the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR). It has been acknowledged as one of the key actors with regards to Pillar 4 (Sustainable Tourism) which helps to reduce administrative barriers and facilitate the commercial opportunities, increasing the value of cultural heritage and the richness of diversities.

Progetto Arcadia (PA)

Progetto Arcadia (PA) is a consultancy agency founded in 2013 by Massimo Germani, Architect and Elena Gentilini, Phd in Local Sustainable Development and specialised in fundings strategies and design and management of EU funded projects, supporting both private and public organisations with innovation projects, especially linked to sustainability and circular economy as well as cultural and tourism development. We employ methodologies that enhance creativity and effective design and management, such as design thinking, human centred design, project cycle management, logical framework approach, GOPP, PM4SD project management for sustainable development.
The design branch, ARCADIA DESIGN by PROGETTO ARCADIA, is also a product/interior/architecture/engineering design studio whose approach is characterised by modularity, customisation and circular economy.
From 2013 to 2017 we developed a circular furniture system, now commercialised, based on the principles of design for reuse, for which we hold an Italian patent and co-financed by EU fundings for innovative start ups. In 2017 we were invited by the XIII Commission of the Senate of the Italian Republic with reference to consultations on EU Act 317 Action Plan for the Circular Economy.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cantabria

The Cantabrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a local organization of businesses and companies in Santander with the intention to develop and further the interests of local companies and businesses in the region. Since its creation in 1886 the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Cantabria has developed different actions and activities with the aim to supply regional enterprises with all the activities related to Industry, Environment and Innovation.
